I'm going to put forth some scenarios that have either happened to me or can easily happen and I want you to respond in the comments with the following

• what you would you do or have done

• what would you absolutely not do

• other points of view

please keep in mind that there is always context and content which means that what sounds like it wouldn't work in one situation or with one person wouldn't necessarily work with another person.

I may purposely be light on the details to garner creative responses and discussion.
