You know you've been in Aquatics & Recreation a long time.....

Sounds like a setup to a punchline but this is a true story... A few years ago I attended a business fair/expo to promote my facility, and took two female staff members to dress up and perform as the mascot/character.

While manning the booth I recognized a former employee named Michelle and introduced her to the new staff members.

I couldn't remember how long ago she was a lifeguard with me and didn't want to embarrass her. She told me she was now a teacher. After she left I couldn't help but notice that one of the current employees had seemed to know Michelle, so I asked, ' how do you know Michelle, are you neighbors?'. 'No', she replied, 'she was my teacher in kindergarten'. Needless to say, you know you've been in waterparks a long time when one set of employees were taught how to read by another set of previous employees. I felt proud and old at the same time.
